Sculptor Sponsors
We find a local business to sponsor each master sculptor which is where we get the money to pay for all the hotel rooms and food. We need $400 per sculptor for our expenses but in some cases the sponsors pay us more than that...in which case that overage is paid to the sculptor. Yes, that does mean that some sculptors will get more money than others. Each sponsored sculptor will receive between $100 and $350 from their sponsor. Additionally, we have some travel funds. We can reimburse the first twelve approved applications up to $250 toward their airfare or travel expenses. We are expecting approximately 25 sculptors total in the solo and duo contests. |
